Tired of storing all the wreaths for all the seasons? Choose a simple wreath as a base and swap out the flowers, greenery, ribbons, and accents each season and/or holiday! I found this wreath of metal leaves at @hobbylobby a couple years ago. Easy to store the decorations for next year in a tote or update as they age and the styles change.

I love Charlie Brown trees. 🌲
This little guy needs a few more years before someone can take him home for Christmas.
Marty and I spent more time than usual yesterday searching for the “perfect” tree and eventually “settled” for one that was not as tall as we wanted. When we put it in the stand at home and released it from its netting, it was indeed, perfect. Perfect height, perfect width, perfect color, and perfectly ours.
There’s a phrase that describes this type of thing: Wabi Sabi … the perfectly imperfect. It means (my version) that we can find the beauty in the things that don’t go as planned, things that break and are repaired, or the simplicity of everyday life.
This is my goal for the Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany seasons. Simplicity, mindfulness, calm, peace, and generosity of spirit.
